The art of meditation is the art of listening with your total being...~ Author Unknown
If you could think of Meditation as listening...would it help you practice on a regular basis? Because essentially that's all Meditation is - it's just listening. Meditation is a practice of stilling the body long enough for the mind to follow. In this place of stillness, beyond the mental chatter, we embark on a journey of transformation. Our intention and attention is turned inward as we sit silently observing the busyness in our minds. We touch a place deep inside of our hearts and souls; we hear the still small voice.
By simply being still our internal guidance system recalibrates itself. It doesn't require herculean efforts. You don't have to join a gymnasium to practice. All you do is sit and observe your thoughts. In time your body, mind and soul sync to the perfect rhythm of self. And we hear the world in a "whole" new way!
