Silence is Golden

“To the mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders.” Lao Tse 640 B.C.

We are taught that busyness is good - to just be is considered not productive - it's even thought to be wasteful to spend moments in contemplation and reflection. If we are always external, connected to the outside world we miss out on the truest aspect of our life! In the silence we embark on a journey inward - the place where we truly awaken.

Silence isn't just for the library or the movies...there's a place for silence in our daily lives. Meditation is the practice of being comfortable in the silence - the space where we find the true golden nuggets in our lives...they're there waiting to be mined!
