Heart Chakra: Color-Green.
The heart chakra governs complex emotions like compassion, tenderness, compassion and well being. It also balances out love for self, in a non egotistical way and love of others. If it's out of balance pride and physical attachments! It's the most important chakra in terms of physical healing.
Today, I hear the song Seasons in Sun as my energy moved through my chakras. It, the melody moved me in an emotional way. The song makes me feel heavy in my heart. I can remember exactly where I was in 1974 the first time I ever heard it. I was struggling with self confidence. Funny how that trait seems to follow me through life! But today, I did something different. While meditating I asked Lagan to guide me, to take me away from my ego and pride and let me feel love for myself and others! Did it work? I'd have to say that's a go! I reached out to others today and I wasn't afraid, even more so when others reached out to me, I gently took their hand!
Now if you've been following my blog you've probably figured out that I always want to run down the path and open the baskets! It's like getting a present, ok, except the day the cobra hissed at me, I didn't like that much! But today as usual Lagan said I had to have patience! arrgghh...but I want it right now! You know he just laughs. He used that word again - you know PATIENCE! But I have patience, I just want to open the basket today. No such luck! But it's my meditation why can't I just dream up whatever I want. Ah, I was reminded that although I am sitting alone in a room having a beautiful meditation during sunrise, it's about the work in the Valley of my Soul.
It's a wonderful journey. But at times, I just want it to go my way. Lagan said, that with commitment - more would be revealed! Pushing me into another day of my journey!
