Learning to Accentuate the Positive

I had a really good day today. Prayed and meditated, attended religious service with my family, took a nap, attended a service in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., and helped supervise 31 teenagers bowl. Wow, what an amazing life. I only complained a little today - but I think I was more trying to ask someone for a possible solution to a problem. Meditation is shedding light on my lack of communication skills. I wax and wain depending on if I'm paying attention or not. Meditation is giving me the distinct ability to think before I speak.

I will be so glad when my mind is no longer my master. I seem to be making progress. I just have to remind myself not to have expectations and to let my life unfold like a flower. Accentuating the positive leaves me feeling refreshed!
