How can sitting idle, doing nothing, and trying to still my mind bring about some important changes in my life? The brain is the hub of all activity. It makes a lot of sense to gain mastery over it, when more and more of it appears to be slipping out of our control! Meditation is a pro-active approach to becoming mindful of the thoughts you are thinking. Words trigger thoughts and thoughts trigger emotions, awareness breeds awareness! Now aware and in the moment you can begin to hear the words that are feeding your brain messages, good or bad, if you don't like the messages - change them! You're allowed to do that you know, it's called choice.
