You know the truth is, I don't have a problem with the spiritual life, I can be spiritual all day long! What I struggle with is being human. Today through my struggles life has taken on a a different essence. For several months now I have been hell bent and determined to follow this spiritual path - happy, joyous and free living in the moments. But they were moments I was creating - nothing was piling up because I didn't take on any new commitments, nothing was going wrong because I was attempting very little, there was no stress because I spent so much time meditating. And then my humanness slapped me right upside the head!
There's a reason we have a plan in place for our spiritual survival and it isn't a plan for the times of smooth sailing. The plan is in place for times of struggle. Today I am okay because I chose to do the next right thing in my life. I chose to stay in the moment, to share with others and to thank the universe that I'm not alone.
I often find myself blogging because of some spiritually enlightened experience - today is no different with one exception. I truly understand today that I am a spiritual being having a human experience. With a spiritual life this human being would be in a world of hurt and for that I am truly grateful!
